Pells closed for planned maintenance Monday 10 August 2026
The Pells will be closed on Monday 10 August for essential maintenance.
You won’t be able to book a swim or sauna that day.
The hot and sunny weather means we’ve been extremely busy over the last few weeks. This is fantastic, and we’re grateful for everyone who has come down and enjoyed the pool this year (and thank you for showering before getting in for a swim). However, the high number of swimmers has affected water quality.
So, we need to drain the pool a little, add more chlorine and carry out a deep clean of the pool and the surrounds, before topping the water back up.
The best way to do this is to close for a day. This is something we typically do once or twice during the season.
We’ll close at 6:30pm on Sunday 9 August and reopen at 7am on Tuesday 11 August.
